That time of year has come again, the smell of the rain in the air, the warm weather and the sun. The green thumb has come and there is a need to start our plants. We live in a small rural town in northern Ohio and are anxious to start.
Bare with me as this is my first ever blog and am excited to see where it takes me. I have been in Ohio for 2 years moving from New York so I am learning how this works. I feel like I am starting out new and anxious to share what I learn.

We have spent many years trying to find where we belong. I have spent most of that time learning plants, herbs and what it takes to live self sufficient. I am hoping to share the things I have learnt. The do's and don'ts of living garden to table. Planting, growing, canning and cooking.
